Terms of Use
Last updated October 14, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of AI Skill Compass (the “Service”), provided by Vasant Bio LLC (“Vasant Bio”, “we”, “us”). By ticking the box when you sign in or create an account, or by using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you agree on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so.
2. Your license to use the Service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service, and any methods, question sets, templates and other materials we provide through it or alongside it (the “Materials”), for your own internal business purposes. No other rights are granted. Your account is for you alone; do not share your sign-in.
3. What you may not do
You agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:
- copy, reproduce, republish or redistribute the Service or the Materials, including the questions, scenarios, workflow catalog, map structures, prompt templates and design;
- scrape, crawl or extract content or data from the Service by any automated means, including bots, scripts and AI agents;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise try to derive the source code, logic, question sets or method behind the Service;
- use the Service or the Materials to build, train or improve a competing product or service;
- sell, resell, rent, sublicense or commercially offer the Service or the Materials to others;
- get around paywalls, trials, usage limits, access controls or other security measures; or
- use the Service in a way that breaks the law or interferes with its operation.
4. Who owns what
Ours. Vasant Bio owns the Service and the Materials, including the method, question sets, scenarios, map structures, prompt templates, software, design and brand, and all intellectual property in them.
Yours. You own the answers you give and the skill maps and prompts generated from them (“Your Maps”). Your Maps may contain parts of our Materials, such as labels, structure and prompt wording; we grant you a perpetual license to use those parts as part of Your Maps, for your internal business purposes, including pasting them into the AI tools you use. That license does not let you extract or reuse the Materials on their own.
Your saved maps are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. We do not claim any rights in them.
5. Confidentiality
Methods, materials and other information we share with you that are not publicly available, through the Service, a paid plan or a consulting engagement, are our confidential information. You agree to use them only for your internal business purposes, to share them only with your own staff and contractors who need them and are bound to keep them confidential, and to protect them with at least reasonable care. These duties do not cover information that is or becomes public through no fault of yours, that you already lawfully had, or that you develop independently. A separate written agreement with us takes precedence over this section where they differ.
6. Plans and free trial
New accounts get a free trial. After it ends, some workflows need a paid plan or a one-time purchase, as described on the plans page. Prices and plans may change; we will not change the price of something you have already paid for.
7. Workflow requests and feedback
If you request a workflow or send us ideas or feedback, you let us use them, without obligation to you, to build and improve the Service. We will not publish your request in a way that identifies you or your organization.
8. Other AI tools
The Service helps you prepare prompts for AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini. Those platforms are run by others under their own terms, and you are responsible for what you share with them and for any skills you build there.
9. No warranties
The Service and the Materials are provided “as is” and “as available”. Skill maps, time estimates and suggestions are guidance, not professional advice, and you are responsible for how you use them. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Vasant Bio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.
11. Ending your use
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. Sections 3, 4, 5, 9, 10 and 13 continue after your access ends.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date above and ask you to accept the new version before you continue using the Service.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
